At about 1:15 AM CST on Dec 12, our NFS server experienced hardware failure and brought down our web servers. User data in home directories were restored from backups, but unfortunately, the most recent backups of the web logs, and certain configuration data are several months old, so web logs and some recent configuration changes were probably lost.

Service on the main web server was restored by 11:12 AM CST. On the old server (Mercy), by 11:38 AM.
