HVNA Meeting Minutes

November 27, 2001

Present: Karen Neset, Wayne & Jean Haut, Geri Tresselt and Chuck Kummeth

The meeting began around 7:30pm and adjourned around 9:00.

Treasurers Report: Current balance of $292.21. Chuck will verify this for next meeting.

Meeting minutes were reviewed and accepted as accurate except for changing the word “bear” to “beer” in the suggestions for next years block party.

There was only one discussion of neighborhood issues and that was brought up by Geri. She asked what was acceptable for temporary outbuildings. It was suggested she contact Scott O’Malley.

Geri brought pictures from the block party. It was suggested that someone be designated as responsible for photographs at the block party next year and that would be their only responsibility.

We agreed there would be no garage sale this year and that Lee can sell or do whatever he chooses with the remains of last years sale.

We agreed to two weekends for the Brat stand this coming year.

It was suggested that a banner across 2^nd St. is important to draw adults to the block party. Perhaps funds form the 2^nd brat stand weekend could pay for the banner.

For next meeting, Wayne will talk to Dorothy at the Historical Society to determine if she would speak about the archives and how they can be used.

We made suggestions as follows for locations for the meetings through July 16, 2002. (Since we volunteered Cheri Rosenberger s home for one and the Washburns for another without their being present, we will need their consent):

January 15 - Lee and Laurie Wyland

February 19 - Chuck and Becky Kummeth

March 19 - Cheri and Rusty Rosenberger

April 16 - Wayne and Jean Haut

May 21 - Jerry and Mary Washburn

June 18 - Geri Tresselt

July 16 - Karen Neset
