Notes of the Hudson Vintage Neighborhood Alliance, July 25th, 2000:

Meeting convene at 7:12pm

Lee reviewed minutes of last meeting (April 25th).

In the April meeting, there was discussion about joining the Hudson Chamber

of Commerce. At the October meeting, we will vote to join the Chamber with

funds from the Block Party (there is a $35 fee to join)

Lee announced he has the database of contractors ready to receive names.

Needs names of contractors, though. Please send names of any contractors

you've dealt with recently and your experience with them

We will operate a brat stand at Erickson's the weekend of 8/4, 5 & 6, in

order to raise money for the band that will play at the Block Party in

September. This brat stand operation is NEXT weekend, and people are

needed to man it.

-Fri 5-7:30pm (Mary, Scot, Karen & David)

-Sat 11am-7pm (Sam & Dorothy, Chuck)

-Sunday 11am-3pm (Dorothy, Lee)

MORE PEOPLE ARE NEEDED FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. Please contact Lee to sign

up for a three-hour stint at the brat stand. (Need 1 extra hour each day to

set up and clean up, outside the hours listed above.)

The food served will be confined to brats, hot dogs and hamburgers. Mary

Washburn will loan us a burger tool for making burgers.

Pricing will be $1.50 for a sandwich and a pop.

Scot will place an announcement in the Hudson Star-Observer about brat

stand and times of operation.

Lee will provide the grill and signs to advertise the event. Four coolers

are needed for keeping meat fresh. Coolers to come from Russ Quandt, Mary

Washburn, Chuck Kummeth and Scot O'Malley.
